So.Be.Fit. Group Class Descriptions

*So.Be.Fit. Group Classes are open to all levels! A previous private session is recommended, but not required!*
Core/Pilates Fusion: Laura’s style of “Pilates” is non-traditional in that the techniques are more aligned with total core training, along with light free weights and legs exercises as well. Shoes off, lights dimmed, and a great full body workout using just your body weight along with a couple of props!
Pilates/Sculpt: 45-50 minutes of a slightly higher intensity than Mat Pilates class due to the intermixing of weight training. This class is a great “combo” of Sculpting and Core Training!
Sculpting: This class is a great full-body toning class working the entire body, and incorporating a small amount of cardio to get you going!
Yoga: While the specific style of Yoga at So.Be.Fit. may change, the Yoga will always be a great strengthening, stretching as well as relaxing practice for all levels.
Cardio-Blast!: An energetic mix of Dance/Heart Rate lifting moves that is sure to give you a great Calorie Burn and a Heart Healthy Cardio Workout!
Mommy, Me and the Monon: This class is open to mothers and their children under the age of 2. We mix a great cardio session on the Monon (or inside if bad weather) with an upper and lower body workout, along with a great "core" session to give you back your pre-baby tummy! Power Yoga: Power Miy Yoga, based in Vinyasa Yoga but also drawing from many styles, offers a dynamic and flowing practice. The focus is on breathing, alignment, proper muscular activation, and attention to the here and now. Class format varies to keep students on a high learning curve. The class is taught at a “higher” level, but all students are welcome as all poses (asanas) can be modified based on individual needs. Props are offered if needed for certain poses.
